She came to visit last night.

Just came back from a distant relative’s wake.

I’ve only met her once, but she was a legend. Heavy Lucky Strike smoker, regular mahjong all nighter. She still lived to an age of 97 years old. She departed peacefully, with a swt smile plastered on her face when i peeped into the coffin.

A sympathetic soul, she even brought up an abandoned son. However that good for nothing, repaid by draining her life savings to pay his huge debts from loan sharks. Pathetic really. Who knws he pockets the condolence money eventually.
